AME’s annual Mineral Exploration Roundup conference brings together more than 6,500 people annually to share innovative ideas, generate new connections and create collaborative solutions related to mineral exploration and development. It is a space where mineral explorers, industry professionals and leaders go to network and is a driving force for mineral exploration in Western Canada and the North and South American Cordillera.
With the theme ‘Lens on Discovery’ and an eye on the newest trend s and opportunities, the 2020 AME Roundup conference will explore the technical highlights and successes in the mineral exploration profession. Now in its 37th year, the focus of the Conference will be placing a lens on discovery for a closer look at those projects, innovations and expertise that exemplify the passion and skill in our industry. Roundup 2020 brings people together around exceptional technical sessions and networking events.
AME is the lead association for the mineral exploration and development industry based in British Columbia. Established in 1912, AME represents, advocates, protects and promotes the interests of thousands of members who are engaged in mineral exploration and development in B.C. and throughout the world.

The 51st running of North America’s Leading Energy Event, the Global Energy Show, formerly the Global Petroleum Show, highlighted new technologies, innovation and optimism for a strong Canadian energy sector. Over 53,000 members of government, CEOs, decision makers and visitors came together from around the globe to send one message: Alberta is open for business. Canada is open for business.
The industry is changing. Over the years the Global Energy Show has transformed into a bigger and better platform for energy executives to host meetings, make company announcements and engage in dialogue that reflects the state of the industry. This year’s Show featured new additions including the Global Meetings Program, Pipeline Alley, the Passport Program in the Outdoor Zone and two separate conferences that each brought an incredible lineup of speakers.
